A friend of mine started her LLC in 2023 and had been sitting on publishing her website for the past 2 years.

She was agonizing over the perfect words and letting the perfect be the enemy of the good.

One day, I was telling her about my first year of business and how it’s been going. For me, this first year has been all about testing.

While some of the tests have been super positive, others have totally bombed! Including one presentation my friend saw me prepare, where no one signed up.

My Loss was an AHA moment for her.

It showed her that things don’t need to be perfect for you to put them out into the world. Maybe things won’t go as planned your first time trying something new.

And that’s ok. Good feedback is a data point, and a lack of feedback is also a data point. It’s one of many data points that I will use to refine my strategy going forward.

She thanked me for sharing the good with the bad. And then launched her beautiful website.

And guess what? That led to a conversation with an old colleague, which led to a contract!

I’m very proud of her for finally putting herself out there and sharing her talents with the world ❤️
